Ways to support the Foundation:
Membership
Join the Alumni Foundation with a one-year, two-year or Lifetime Membership. You’ll receive our newsletter twice a year and membership dues help fund the operating expenses of the Foundation. The Alumni Foundation has no paid staff and is run by volunteers. While very efficient, we still have overhead and without the support of paid memberships we would not be able to exist.
Create a Scholarship
Acknowledge the accomplishments of today’s Heights High graduates through a scholarship. The scholarship can be in honor of a loved one, a favorite teacher or for achievements in a field of study important to you. You determine the criteria, the Foundation will handle the paperwork. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, your donation is tax-deductible.
Annual Campaign
Consider the Cleveland Heights High School Alumni Foundation when doing your annual giving. In addition to services for alumni, the Foundation’s newsletter and our scholarships, we also support worthwhile academic projects at Heights High. All donations over $50 are acknowledged in the Foundation’s Spring Newsletter.
Corporate Matching
When making a contribution to the Alumni Foundation, check and see if your employer does matching gifts as this is a great way to double your donation.
Class Funds
After your reunion, consider a donation to the Foundation. The Foundation assists reunions by publicizing reunions on our website and in the alumni newsletter, plus we constantly update our database of over 50,000 Heights High graduates. If your class decides to no longer hold reunions, use leftover funds to create a scholarship, fund a project at Heights High, or add it to the Alumni Foundation’s endowment, strengthening the Foundation for Heights High’s second century of academic achievement.
Estate Planning and In Memoriam
Many people find that their strongest memories and friendships are from their school days. Allow these memories to continue by considering the Alumni Foundation when doing estate planning or to remember a loved.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit donations are tax-deductible. If you have any questions contact us at info@heightsalumni.org.
