Come one, come all to the Cleveland Heights High School Alumni Foundation's 16th Annual Scholarship Pancake Breakfast, Sunday, April 22nd. Last year 500 alumni, students, friends and family enjoyed all-you-can-eat flapjacks served up by Chris Cakes. Besides the tasty pancakes, guests can tour Heights High, great for those who graduated Heights five or fifty years ago. Before you leave, you'll want to buy raffle tickets to try your luck at winning an Apple iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano or iPad.

Heights alumni are proud of their high school alma mater, as well as their college alma mater. With this in mind, the Cleveland Heights High School Alumni Foundation ispleased to announce a new scholarship program. Heights alumni can support studentsattending their college alma mater, by donating to a scholarship awarded to a student who plans on attending the same college as they did.

While our goal is a scholarship specific to each school listed below, at this time we are setting up our Alma Mater Scholarship based on three regions: Ohio, East of Ohio and West of Ohio. Once we have enough contributions earmarked for a specific college, we will then create a scholarship unique to that school. When sending in your contribution, be sure to note which school(s) your donation is for.

This guide is assembled every five years and is a vital component in updating the alumni database we maintain and provide to reunion committees. Be sure to participate in the online portion of the project, which let's us know if you participated in extracurricular programs like the IMD, VMD or a sport.

A group of alumni are excited about creating a scholarship fund in honor of vocal music teacher, Dr. Clair T. McElfresh, otherwise known as “Mac”. Mac directed the Heights High Men’s Chorus and Girls’ Glee Club in the early to mid-60s, and from ‘66 until 1973, the Cleveland Heights High School Choir.

They are seeking all Heights High Choir, Glee Club, and Men’s Chorus alumni who want to thank Clair McElfresh (Mac) for the great example he set in terms of musicianship, showmanship, and character. To learn more about Mac’s Scholarship, go to www.mac-scholarship.wikispaces.com.
