Come one, come all to the Cleveland Heights High School Alumni Foundation's 14th Annual Scholarship Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, April 18th. Last year over 500 alumni, students, friends and family enjoyed the all-you-can-eat flapjacks served up by Chris Cakes. Besides the tasty pancakes, guests can take tours of Heights High, great for those who graduated from Heights five or fifty years ago. Before you leave you'll want to buy a few raffle tickets and try your luck at winning an Apple iPod, with drawings at 10:00, 11:00 and noon.

A group of alumni are excited about creating a scholarship fund in honor of vocal music teacher, Dr. Clair T. McElfresh, otherwise known as “Mac”. Mac directed the Heights High Men’s Chorus and Girls’ Glee Club in the early to mid-60s, and from ‘66 until 1973, the Cleveland Heights High School Choir.

They are seeking all Heights High Choir, Glee Club, and Men’s Chorus alumni who want to thank Clair McElfresh (Mac) for the great example he set in terms of musicianship, showmanship, and character. To learn more about Mac’s Scholarship, go to www.mac-scholarship.wikispaces.com.
